Staff Software Engineer, LevelPlay

The opportunityJoin the Levelplay Platform team, a core part of Unity's Grow department. Levelplay is a leading mediation tool, and our platform team is at the heart of the business, responsible for gathering and managing all mediation configurations for our publishers. This is a high-impact role on a team that operates at a high scale, working on a client-facing platform with a large number of product responsibilities. You will be a key player in building high-scale services and delivering critical data to Unity teams via robust data pipelines.What You'll Be DoingOwn and lead the end-to-end development of new features, from initial PRD to final execution and delivery.Design, build, and maintain high-scale microservices.Collaborate effectively with product teams and other engineering teams to make sound technical decisions.Take full ownership of projects, leading them independently or guiding other team members.What We're Looking For8+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.Proven experience in leading large, complex projects from start to finish.Strong technical knowledge to make informed architectural and design decisions.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with product managers and other teams.Experience with high-scale systems and microservices.Experience with relational databases.Proficiency with cloud providers (AWS or GCP).Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes (k8s).Experience with streaming technologies like Kafka.You might also haveFormer experience with a modern UI framework such as React, Vue, or Angular, with React being an advantage.Experience with analytics data and columnar db architectures.Additional InformationRelocation support is not available for this positionWork visa/immigration sponsorship is not available for this positionLife at UnityWe offer a wide range of benefits designed to support employees' well-being and work-life balance.
