The Products and Services Marketplace (PSM) organization in Product Engineering is looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our team to drive product and technology programs. In this role, the candidate will manage high-priority, high-profile programs and work closely with engineering and product leaders to drive critical programs in the organization. Successful candidates will have a solid track record of program management and will have demonstrated excellent technical, leadership, organizational and communication skills. In addition, the right candidate will care deeply about the products they work on, are natural motivators, cross-functional relationship builders, and champions for driving the right level of process to ensure smooth and predictable program execution in a fast-paced innovative environment.Our Product and Services Marketplace (PSM) vision is to become the definitive B2B commerce platform for all organizations worldwide, empowering marketers, sellers, buyers, users and customers to drive better outcomes for themselves and their businesses. The PSM strategy recognizes that we will continue to deliver value to our LinkedIn Marketing Solution (LMS) and LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS) businesses, and that the lion's share of our investment will be going to directly drive growth in these two areas. This role will be based in Bangalore, India. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business.Location:The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.Responsibilities:Own successful delivery of large, high impact and highly cross-functional programs by leveraging deep technical expertise to develop detailed plans with key milestones and goals, identify and mitigate risks, solve for dependencies, remove impediments, and ensure timely and smooth program launchesManage multiple concurrent projects/programsDevelop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectivesDrive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogsDrive bi-annual roadmap and resource planning activities and deliverablesEnsure cross-team alignment on goals, priorities, roadmap, schedules, communications, and releases to all stakeholdersProvide reporting on project status, risks, issues and mitigation plansIdentify gaps, unblock issues, and drive alignment between groups and functionsCreate a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, mastery, autonomy, innovation and continuous learningCoach and mentor others in the best practices of modern technical planning and execution.Possess business strategy understanding and product intuitionQualificationsBasic Qualifications:8+ years of full-time technical program management experience within an engineering or technical teamB.S./B.A. degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experiencePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated success managing multiple major and concurrent projects/programsDemonstrated success driving the development program of world-class online productsSignificant experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams, individual contributors and external clientsKnowledge of complex technical ecosystems and adequate technical depthAbility to build collaborations and create a community of leadershipBe a thought leader; someone who can help advance strategy and challenge others in the organization to make important improvementsDemonstrated conflict resolution skills combined with strong negotiation ability delivered with a high level of influence and professionalismAgile coaching and practitioner experience (Scrum, Kanban) with multiple teams.Experience in managing all phases of end-to-end product developmentKnowledge of Internet client/server social networking applications and systemsHands-on software development experienceExperience working on ATS integrationsSuggested Skills:Program ManagementAgile Project ManagementCross-functional team leadershipRisk ManagementSoftware Product DevelopmentYou will Benefit from our Culture:We strongly believe in the well-being of our employees and their families.
