Job DescriptionTo conduct surveillance, analyse and investigate customers with respect to potential terrorist financing and money laundering related to bribery, corruption, other predicate offences or other suspicious activity, based on System and Manual Alerts. To investigate, diagnose and resolve (or escalate) post related vanilla queries, requests, compliments and complaints for low touch clients to maintain effective operational business performance and delivery of excellent client service against targets, quality and service standards.

Collaborate with the Financial Intelligence Centre, as and when required, to address large scale or sensitive financial crimes and investigations, as they relate to specific requests issued by the FIC. Analyse alerts to identify suspicious activities relating to money laundering and terrorist financing. Assess the independent risk profiles of clients as a second line-of-defence, in relation to consequential risks. Conduct in-depth research and perform data analytics to identify patterns and trends consistent with money laundering, terror financing, and other types of suspicious activity.

Capture findings and conclusions in the required reporting format and systems and prepare and submit outcomes as prescribed by relevant policies and procedures. Store and manage all information and data on the required systems, in the required format and for the required duration as prescribed by the relevant data model and in adherence with the policies and procedures.
