Requirements / QualificationsSCOE Ed-Join ApplicationEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in journalism, communications, or related field and eight years increasing responsible experience in public relations or journalism, including experience in project management and/or supervision. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance. Must be at least 18 years of age. May be required to provide own transportation.

If using own vehicle in the course of employment, must have proof of insurance. This includes coordinating, planning, and developing all elements of internal and external communications, media relations, social media, marketing, website, and special events; providing professional and technical support, assistance, and guidance to the Superintendent and assistant superintendents as directed; and leading the Communications Department and staff. BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
