Yard Supervisor – Steel Scaffold (Casual, Full-Time Hours) | Kingston, QLD📍 Location: Kingston, QLDStar Scaffolds is a leading provider of residential scaffolding solutions across Queensland and Victoria. Our team manufactures, hires, erects, delivers, repairs, and sells both steel and aluminium scaffolding to all trades and regions across Australia. We’re now looking for a reliable and experienced Yard Supervisor to run the 10am–6pm shift, Monday to Friday, at our Kingston branch. This is a casual role working full-time hours, with opportunities for overtime, and a clear path to permanent employment for the right person. About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the afternoon shift, coordinating with our Morning Shift Supervisor and leading a team of yard staff to ensure gear is handled efficiently, safely, and on time. This includes:
• Supervising gear dispatch, returns, repairs, and general yard flow • Overseeing shipping and receiving processes • Coordinating stock, deliveries, and movement of scaffolding equipment • Ensuring efficient and safe forklift operation • Maintaining a clean, compliant, and organised yard • Supporting a strong team culture and shift handoversWhat We’re Looking For✔ Strong supervisory and leadership skills ✔ Experience in a scaffolding, construction or yard-based role ✔ Forklift licence ✔ Experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, and inventory control ✔ Strong communication, time management and organisational skills ✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment ✔ A safety-first attitude and commitment to team accountability ✔ Experience with steel scaffolding and yard logistics is a major plusWhat We Offer ✓ Casual role with full-time hours:
