Your missionWe are seeking a highly skilled UAV Maintenance Technician responsible for supporting the assembly, maintenance, and operation of fixed-wing UAS platforms within a fast-paced defense tech environment. ResponsibilitiesAssist in building, wiring, and testing UASSupport field deployments and live demonstrationsPerform regular maintenance and system diagnosticsWork closely with experienced engineers to learn and growStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processesDive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems. Constantly be challenging requirements to determine what adds value and what is not.
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. Basic mechanical or electrical knowledgeHands-on experience with hobby aircraft, model aviation, or light aircraftEnthusiasm and willingness to learn fastWork on RC aircraft, university aerospace projects, or hands-on workshop experience. CAD familiarity, soldering, composite materialsDrone pilot license or aviation backgroundCurious, hands-on, proactive, and a team player. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with a strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
