Job Description

About the role: We’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Senior Customer Success Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 50-100 clients—owning the customer relationship, driving adoption, and ensuring their long-term success with Starred. This role blends account management, project management, and customer advocacy to ensure our clients are providing their own candidates with an incredible hiring and employee experience. Key responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across your portfolio of accounts.

Be a trusted advisor in the Starred platform and candidate experience as a whole. You’ll be your customers’ strategic partner from onboarding through renewal and beyond. Account Growth: Identify expansion opportunities, upsell and cross-sell relevant products, and partner with Sales to drive renewals and revenue growth in your book of business. Onboarding & Adoption: Lead client onboarding and product training, coordinating with our Product Specialist team to implement Starred solutions with new customers. Ensure seamless “go-live” and high early adoption rates to set the foundation for success. Strategic Guidance:

Understand your customers’ goals and KPIs, whether they directly involve Starred or not. Provide data-driven insights, Talent Acquisition and Candidate Experience best practices, and strategic recommendations to help them achieve outcomes. Health Monitoring & Risk Mitigation: Track customer health metrics, usage patterns, and engagement levels. Proactively manage risks and churn indicators. Reporting & Communication: Prepare and deliver regular business reviews and performance reports. Keep clients informed on product updates and new capabilities. What you’ll bring:

You’ve spent some time in Customer Success, Account Management, or similar client-facing rolesYou’re an advocate for your customers, and for the products you represent tooYou have experience managing 50-100 accounts at a time, at varying stages and sizesYou’ve got a proven track record of growing customer relationships, driving retention and expansionsYou have an analytical and risk-managing mindset, with experience using CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce to forecast and prioritize your workComfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Support/Onboarding, Product, and MarketingBonus points if you have: Customer success playbooks and frameworks (e. g.
