Head of Finance

About The RoleWe are seeking a hands-on, strategic Head of Finance who can establish and lead the company finance function from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an early-stage, fast-paced startup environment and understands both consumer product dynamics and financial storytelling for investors. As our first finance hire, you will not only manage day-to-day finance operations but also build financial systems, shape strategic plans, support R&D-driven cost structures, and prepare us for future rounds of funding and sustainable growth.

ResponsibilitiesFinance Setup & Strategic PlanningDesign and implement finance operations and reporting systems from scratchBuild short- and long-term financial models aligned with our R&D, product roadmap, and go-to-market strategyTranslate lab-to-market business logic into clear financial forecastsOwn budgeting, cash flow management, scenario planning, and financial health indicatorsFinancial Planning & AnalysisLead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with the companys strategic goals. Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business planning and investment decisions. Conduct variance analysis, identifying trends and providing actionable recommendations to improve financial performance. Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Present financial reports and insights to senior management and shareholders, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.

Investor & Stakeholder ReportingPrepare dashboards and reports for current and future investorsLead monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flowSupport future fundraising by developing pitch deck financials, data rooms, and due diligence materialsStock Planning & Supply Chain FinanceWork with product, warehouse, and supply chain teams to align inventory levels with demand planningMonitor COGS, margins, and supply chain risks; implement cost control initiativesOptimize working capital and cash tied up in stock, R&D, and warehousingCompliance & Operational FinanceEnsure accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial governancePartner with external accountants or auditors on regulatory filingsOversee POS updates, reimbursements, payroll, and cost tracking processesTeam & Cross-Functional LeadershipManage (or help hire) a small finance or accounting support team as we growWork closely with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and brand to align on company-wide financial goalsSupport SOP creation for purchasing, procurement, payroll, and moreQualifications8+ years in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership roleExperience in a consumer product, skincare, cosmetics, healthcare, or wellness startupPrior work in early-stage or research-led companies is a major plusStrong in financial modelling, investor presentations, and operational financeLanguage ProficiencyNative ThaiFull Working Proficient English
