Job Duties and Other Informationemployee's work is performed in accordance with Departmental policies, regulations, and applicable state and federal laws. The employee must also understand and apply Louisiana's Risk Evaluation and Corrective Action Program (RECAP). The incumbent serves as team leader on remediation projects within the Remediation DivisionPerforms comprehensive reviews of site investigation work plans and reports, corrective action work plans and reports, monitoring work plans and reports, to name a few, to ensure that all documents are addressed appropriately and in accordance with RECAP (Risk Evaluation Corrective Action Program) and other applicable regulations.

Perform site inspections to oversee remedial activities conducted on sites, as well as perform semi-annual and annual inspections to assess compliance and progress. Represent the Department at meetings with the regulated community, effectively communicating technical and regulatory information.
