All previous applicants MUST reapply to be considered. ***Tidewater Research Station is hiring an Agricultural Technician II with growth potential for a fulfilling career in agriculture. Our mission is to serve as a platform for agricultural research to make farming more efficient, productive, and profitable, while maintaining a sound environment and providing consumers with safe and affordable productsThis Agricultural Technician II position will support research efforts in the Livestock Unit. Our ideal candidate will have experience in general animal agricultural production, pasture and forage production, and general farming practices.

This position will require some rotating shift, weekend, holiday, and overtime work depending on station needs. Key Responsibilities Includetasks related to beef and swine livestock production such as feeding and general care of animals. tasks related to pasture management and forage production. Maintaining accurate records of all animal dataMaintain and repair buildings when required. Benefits IncludeTwelve Paid Holidays annually.
