OnsiteJoin us as a Station Agent and be at the heart of every journey supporting passengers, baggage, and aircraft with a focus on safety, service, punctuality, quality, and efficiency!TasksThe Station Agent is responsible for: Take appropriate measures in case of volume-, weight- and trim-critical flightsEnsure the aircraft is loaded in accordance with the corresponding loading instructionEnsure necessary communication with relevant local and central departmentsCalculate and issue tickets incl.

re-issues, depending on local set-up in cooperation with RBCsHandle irregularities in providing alternative flights, arranging ground transportation and hotelCarry out all check-in and gate/boarding procedures in accordance with the appropriate guidelines and airline manualsArrange delivery of delayed baggage in accordance with the appropriate guidelines and airline manualsFollow required safety and security procedures Taking on special tasks and deputations assigned by the superiorRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a combination of the below requirements:

High school degree requiredVocational training desirable1-3 years of working experience desirableFluent knowledge of English, both spoken and writtenKnowledge of German language desirableGood general educationDriving licensePC skillsDiligent and systematic approach to workAbility to work on own initiativeDesire to give excellent serviceSales skills, confident mannerAbility to make ad-hoc decisionsGood sociable and cooperative conductTeam playerPossibly psychological aptitude testManage constant time pressureNo permanently assigned work stationWeather factors and noise pollutionLifting of luggage up to 23kg/70lbMust be willing to work shifts Must possess a legal work permit in Namibia CV/Resume and Motivation Letter required Company will not provide relocation assistance
