Job DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesLead site operations of boilers, high temperature thermic fluid heater, ash / fuel handling, water treatment, and associated utilities.Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of power plant equipment to achieve maximum uptime and reliability.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, optimize costs, and reduce breakdowns.Prepare and implement annual shutdown plans, coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients.Ensure strict adherence to safety norms (LOTO, IMS, 5S, statutory regulations) to achieve zero-incident operations.Monitor and analyze plant performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.Handle project execution activities including technical finalization, vendor coordination, and quality control.Manage statutory compliance and liaise with government bodies for inspections, approvals, and certifications.Lead audits (internal/external) and ensure closure of observations within stipulated timelines.Build and mentor a high-performance team, fostering a positive work culture.Maintain strong client relations by providing timely updates on plant performance, cost savings, and project status.Prepare reports and presentations for management on operational KPIs, project progress, and financial performance.Key Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in higher capacity power plant operations, steam turbines, boilers, high temperature thermic fluid heaters and utilities.Strong knowledge of safety standards, energy efficiency, ERP systems, and statutory compliances.Analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to achieve plant reliability and cost efficiency.Leadership, team building, and stakeholder management skills.Strong communication, reporting, and client-handling abilities.QualificationsBachelor of Technology (Mechanical Engineering) Boiler Operation Engineer (BOE)Certified Energy Manager – Bureau of Energy Efficiency, New Delhi.ExperienceMinimum 15+ years of experience in power plant operations & maintenance, high temperature thermic fluid heater including managerial and consultancy roles.Proven track record in site management, project execution, and achieving operational excellence.Demonstrated success in cost savings, plant availability improvement, and safety compliance.Personal AttributesContinuous improvement mindset.Strong leadership and team management.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Client-centric and collaborative.
