Job Description
Responsibilities:In cooperation with Client and Assistant Financial Controllers (AFC), achieving timely and accurate statutory financial statements compliance for an assigned portfolio of entities.Support the co-ordination of the local GAAP financial statements audit process.Support adoption of tools, solutions and frameworks implemented to enhance the local GAAP FS preparation process.Support Assistant Financial Controllers (AFC) on ad-hoc tasks and statutory compliance-related activities.Support Client with US GAAP related tasks for assigned portfolio of entities.Collaborate with the Client to ensure consistent implementation of IFRS and other accounting standards.Qualifications:A self-starter who will collaborate closely with the AFC and will perform their responsibilities to utmost quality and standard in line with agreed processes.Highly collaborative, with excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being comfortable with navigating change.Strong time management and organizational skills.Superb attention to detail and possession of a macro view.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance and/or related discipline, or recognized accounting qualification (e.g. CA, ACCA).Very good knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP,Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems,3-4 years of relevant experience with a fast-growing, multinational company or professional services (i.e. Big Four).Preferred QualificationsUS GAAP Tax experienceExperience working with international teams.
