Together we forge the future with steel.The Fabrication Plant Manager is a key leader in overseeing the company's structural steel fabrication operations in Cocoa, FL.ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop, ensuring efficiency and productivityManage and lead a team of production leads, quality control inspectors, fitters, welders, machinists, and support staffDevelop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes and meet production targetsMonitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employeesFoster a culture of continuous improvement and employee development within the fabrication teamCollaborate with the Shop Teams and Senior Management to improve fabrication techniques and streamline production workflowsEvaluate project budgets, production costs, and provide feedback to the management teamQualificationsProven experience in a managerial role within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of fabrication processes, equipment, and industry standardsExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide teamsExceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficient in project management and organizational skillsFamiliarity with relevant safety regulations and best practicesKnowledge and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel is requiredKnowledge of Tekla PowerFab is preferredKnowledge of applicable and proper use for the following: welders, gas supplied equipment, rigging, and componentsPossess at minimum the tools as required to measure, verify, and audit basic conformity standardsThe Fabrication Plant Manager must possess and maintain a current valid driver's license.
