Steel Structure Material Engineer📍Location: Ust Luga Region, Leningrad Oblast – Russia🏗️Project Type: Industrial Project (Gas Processing Plant)🕘Position Type: Full-TimeAbout the PositionWe are looking for a Steel Structure Material Engineer to join our large-scale industrial project in the Ust Luga Region of Russia. As a company known for delivering international-scale projects, we seek professionals who would play a key role in supporting the project in the field and engineering processes outside the construction site.Effective material management has a significant importance for the success of big-scale Oil & Gas projects, as it ensures the timely availability of the right materials in the right quantity and quality. In such complex and high-stakes environments, especially with steel components, proper coordination across procurement, logistics, storage, and quality control minimizes delays, cost overruns, and risks associated with non-compliance or material failure. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and traceability of materials, which directly supports project safety, efficiency, and schedule compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesTaking part in material management operations related to structural steel,Following the process from the arrival of the materials from abroad or domestically to the EP warehouse,Taking part in all the shipment operations of the material from ports to the EP Warehouse and from EP Warehouse to the site at the required time, Tracking and keeping records of the material approvals from the engineering department,Tracking material requests for field assembly and manufacturing works and following up warehouse release forms,Working with other project staff including schedulers and AWP teams to plan material and equipment deliveries, Tracking the exit processes of the materials from the warehouse with the assignment of the project material to the IWP packages,Tracking and keeping records of equipment distribution and material deliveries to construction teams and subcontractors,Ensuring traceability of the material life cycle to the final assembly point,Taking part in establishing and implementing procedures for material management and delivery systems,Tracking the preservation operations,Tracking the storage and inventory.QualificationsBachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of engineering,Experience in structural steel production, installation or steel material management,Advanced level of English and/or preferably Russian,Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Autocad,Proficient user of Microsoft Excel,Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment,Willing and able to work abroad on a long-term basis,Strong analytical thinking, detail-oriented, and competent in written reporting.What Awaits You?Opportunity to be part of a large-scale, high-profile international project,A dynamic work environment with a strong and experienced team,Company-covered accommodation, transportation, and meals,A chance to accelerate your career within a solid organizational structure.Benefits We Offer🗓️Rotation Schedule: A rotation plan of either 120 workdays + 10 days off or 180 workdays + 15 days off,✈️Travel Support: Assistance with flight tickets during leave periods,🚌 Shuttle Service: Regular transportation service between residential areas and the project site,🏥 Employee Health: On-site infirmaries and access to company doctors, in addition to private health insurance that includes inpatient treatment and annual check-ups,🏠 Accommodation Support: Depending on the project location and role, either camp accommodation or rental assistance will be provided.
