Job SummaryWard E3 is looking to recruit band 5 Staff Nurse to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. Ward is a 35 bedded, General Medicine ward. The candidates will have the opportunity develop their clinical skills and assessment and knowledge in a General Medicine ward Successful candidates will have the opportunity to provide high quality nursing care to our patients. We are looking for highly committed and motivated staff to join our team. Recently qualified applicants will be supported through their Preceptorship.

The post holder will assist in the admission and discharge processes for patients in line with local procedures. They will provide support with the effective patient admission pathways and effective discharge planning using their clinical skills to agree admissions and manage/report any impact on shifts/ workload and staffing levels. They will proactively engage with patients, relatives and carers to seek their views, gain agreement and keep them informed about their treatment and care.
