About position: The Store Design & Construction position will be tasked with managing the design work and project execution through all phases of UNIQLO’s new store design and construction. This individual is responsible for end-to-end project management from giving timely input on feasibility of projects until handover to the store operation team to ensure code requirement, Uniqlo quality requirement and maintenance requirement is provided (including but not limited to store layout, budget, schedules, coordination/communication with landlord, construction vendors, etc.).Job Description:1. Project ManagementOversee end-to-end store design and construction projects, from feasibility study to store opening.Lead site walkthroughs through the entire project lifecycle, from initial costing through final handover to the store team. Identify risks related to time and budget, resolve all on-site issues, and ensure seamless delivery.Manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards for multiple projects simultaneously.Do clean & transparent business with all related members following UNIQLO WAY globally.Build and keep good relationships with all members by good morals and manners.2. Design & ComplianceDevelop store layouts and design concepts that reflect brand identity and enhance customer experience.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and global standards.Ensure design and construction documents from architects and meet all Uniqlo operation needs, after finalizing store layouts with management.3. Vendor & Stakeholder CoordinationDevelop Construction drawings and bidding documents, manage bidding process, liaise and coordinate all local consultants and construction partners.Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Property, Finance) and landlords to meet project objectives.4. Cost & Quality ControlPrepare cost estimates, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specifications.Manage project budgets, schedule, and ensure landlord handover conditions meet Uniqlo's standards in collaboration with the store development team.Selection and examination of construction materials, developing long-term partnerships with local construction companies and vendors, improve cost efficiency of store networks in the region.5.
