Storekeeper

Job Summary:The Head Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing all store and inventory operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials, equipment, and supplies. The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to maintain accurate stock levels and smooth coordination with procurement and operational departments.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, including receiving, inspecting, labeling, and issuing materials.Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.Monitor stock levels and communicate timely replenishment requirements to the procurement team.Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with company standards and safety guidelines.Lead and train storekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to operational procedures.Coordinate with departments to plan material requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.Prepare and submit inventory, consumption, and discrepancy reports to management.Implement process improvements for better warehouse efficiency and accuracy.Ensure all goods are handled, stored, and issued as per established company policies.Requirements:Minimum 5–7 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management (preferably in golf, hospitality, or retail sectors).Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and MS Excel / ERP software.Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Golf industry experience is mandatory.Education:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
