About The JobThe Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient management of inventory, including receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials and supplies. The role ensures proper stock control, accuracy of records, and availability of materials for operational needs while maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety in the store area.Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, tools, and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock cards or ERP system regularly. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records. Monitor stock levels and notify management of low or excess inventory. Arrange items systematically for easy identification, access, and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free storage environment. Ensure proper documentation for all items issued and received. Keep accurate records of receipts, issues, and returns. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management. Assist in stock audits and ensure compliance with inventory control policies. Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines in the store area. Report any damaged, expired, or missing items promptly.Requirements Willing to move to Kisemvule/Mkuranga or near by Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or similar role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Knowledge of inventory control systems and stock management procedures.
