Above all, ipTEST is responsive.About This RoleReporting to the Stores Manager and working in a fast-paced stores alongside two other stores assistants the key function will be ensure timely kitting, picking and packing of orders for despatch and goods inward tasks including receiving palletised goods and small boxed deliveries.ResponsibilitiesReceiving and quality checking goods inwards 5-10 deliveries per day and locating stock in correct location on racking.Picking and packing small and medium sized spares orders for despatch in accordance with pickPicking and packing large system orders into shippingAssisting with daily cycle counts under the guidance of the StoresPreferred SkillsPrevious experience working in a manual warehouse rolePicking and packing experience in a distribution environmentExperience of goods in/goods outForklift training desirable but not essentialTraining provided to candidates with a positive attitude to learning and a keen interest in working in a warehouseGood level of numeracy and literacy Qualifications & Educational RequirementsEducated to GCSE level or equivalentFull UK driving licenceProven experience working in a store’s environment would be preferred but not essentialStrong process mindset and confidence to challenge requests outside of the processGood standard of spoken and written English and sound numerical skillsAttention to detailWhat’s In It For YouThis is a full-time position with competitive compensation package, excellent benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance.ipTEST also provides additional benefits including an Employee Assistance Program, Social events, and so much more!
