You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's goods and inventory process - from receiving and storing deliveries to maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting the purchasing function. If you love structure, accuracy, and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, this could be the perfect fit.A little taste of your day-to-day Be the go-to person for receiving, verifying, and recording deliveries to keep our inventory accurate and up to dateSupport with ensuring goods are stored safely, securely, and in line with hotel standards Maintain clean and organised store areas and the loading dock to keep operations running smoothlyAssist with stock counts where required and help monitor inventory levels to avoid shortagesWork closely with department heads and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and support timely, cost-effective procurementKeep detailed records of receipts, invoices, and reports, ensuring everything is filed accurately and ready for auditSupport the Finance and Purchasing teams with day-to-day purchasing tasks and vendor coordinationContribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline inventory and purchasing processesA little taste of your day-to-day Experience in a similar or related roleFamiliarity with stock control and purchasing systemsStrong organisational skills and a sharp eye for detailPhysically fit, with the ability to handle some lifting as part of daily dutiesConfident communicator with great interpersonal skillsProblem-solving mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamA proactive, reliable approach and the ability to prioritise effectivelyLegal right to work in New ZealandWhat You Can Expect From UsWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
