To further strengthen the finance function, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Controller to join the team. ABOUT THE ROLEAs an IT Controller, you will serve as a key business partner between the IT department and the finance/controlling function. You will take ownership of financial planning, cost management, reporting, and vendor-related financial oversight for IT. The position requires a hands-on professional with strong analytical skills, who can balance strategic insight with operational execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Planning & ForecastingDevelop and manage the IT department’s annual budget in alignment with strategic objectives. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting processes. Coordinate bottom-up planning across all FEV entities, ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights. Collaborate with global IT heads to refine budget proposals and meet group targets. 2. Cost Management & OptimizationMonitor IT expenditures across software, hardware, cloud services, and personnel. Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, contract renegotiation, and process improvements. Review financials of IT projects to ensure cost-effective execution. 3. Financial Reporting & AnalysisGenerate and consolidate financial reports for IT expenses and investments. Provide financial insights and benchmarks to support strategic decisions. Support Group Controlling in preparing presentations for executive reviews and board meetings. 4. Vendor & Contract ManagementOversee financial aspects of IT contracts, licensing agreements, and procurement.
Ensure proper documentation and financial tracking of goods received. 5. Compliance & Financial PoliciesEnsure adherence to corporate financial policies and regulatory standards. Support IT-related financial audits and maintain accurate documentation. Monitor internal controls to prevent financial mismanagement or fraud. 6. IT Project Financial SupportEvaluate financial feasibility of IT initiatives. Track project budgets, funding, and milestones in collaboration with project managers. Assess post-implementation financial performance of IT projects. 7. Chargeback & Cost AllocationSupport operational execution of chargeback processes. Ensure accurate and complete data submission for cost allocation across entities. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Excellent knowledge of using SAP and SAC. Proven experience in IT financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in financial software and tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
