Office Manager (Part-Time, Mornings) - Dublin Location: Exchequer Chambers, Dublin 2Schedule: Part-time, Mornings (approx. 4 hours per day). Flexibility on occasion would be appreciated, with advance notice. OverviewStoryToys is seeking a highly organized and proactive part-time Office Manager to support our Dublin team. Reporting into the Finance Department, and working closely with HR and the broader team, the successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of our office and provide vital support for administrative and operational needs as our business continues to grow. Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Management & FacilitiesWelcome and host office visitors with professionalism and warmth.
Manage day-to-day office needs including supplies, equipment maintenance, cleaning services, water cooler refills, and grocery deliveries. Communicate relevant office updates (e. g. disruptions, visitors, fire) via Slack. Organise fob access for new joiners and update logs accordingly. Schedule and manage periodic Health & Safety and Fire Safety trainings. Work with our property management company to ensure open communication about all building related matters. Administrative & Operational SupportSupport coordination with sub-let tenants in Exchequer Chambers. Arrange domestic and international travel, including bookings and itineraries. Provide logistical and admin support for meetings, training sessions, and in-person or off-site team events.
Order supplies and liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure prompt delivery and resolve issues. Finance & Admin SupportAssist with payroll administration and miscellaneous administration as required. Manage incoming and outgoing post and courier services, including setup and contract negotiation if necessary. Support ad-hoc tasks as required by the business. RequirementsPrevious experience in office management, facilities coordination, or administrative support. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership. Comfortable with technology:
Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Slack, and basic IT troubleshooting. Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams (Finance, HR, Ops). Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Experience with vendors, contractors, and suppliers is a plus.
