The role requires expertise in Korea’s defense procurement processes, proven success in managing government tenders, and the ability to build strong relationships with government and military stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies for land-based defense projects in Korea.Drive business development efforts by identifying new government and defense opportunities.Build and strengthen relationships with key government agencies, defense contractors, and military organizations.Serve as the primary point of contact for defense stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships.Collaborate with internal engineering, commercial, and legal teams to ensure successful sales outcomes.Monitor defense market trends, policies, and acquisition programs to identify risks and opportunities.Must-Have Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Defense Studies, or a related field.8–10 years of proven experience in government sales, defense contracting, or business development in the defense sector.Strong knowledge of Korea’s defense procurement processes, government tenders, and military acquisition programs.Demonstrated success in managing government accounts and securing defense-related contracts.Fluency in Korean and English (spoken & written) for effective communication with local and international stakeholders.Military service background or extensive defense network highly preferred.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Skills & AttributesExperience working with defense contractors, military institutions, and government bodies.Ability to analyze complex defense requirements and translate them into business opportunities.Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and relationship-building abilities.
