Strategic Consultant / Project Manager (Mid–Junior Level)A global technology organization is seeking a Strategic Consultant / Project Manager to support a wide range of high-impact, time-sensitive initiatives directly connected to C-level leadership. This role sits within a central strategy function that oversees cross-departmental initiatives, executive alignment, and operational improvement across the entire Technology Division.【Department Overview】The position belongs to a Strategy & CIO Support Office within a large global tech group.The department works as a bridge across all technology-related divisions, engaging in:Corporate governance and quality enhancementTechnology communicationsExecutive-level decision supportHorizontal strategic initiatives (e.g., OKRs, quality circles, global tech events, executive meetings)The team works directly with the CIO & CTO, handling confidential, ad hoc, and cross-functional tasks.【Position Summary】We are looking for a Strategic Consultant who can operate independently, respond quickly to executive requests, and drive execution across teams.This role is ideal for someone with a consulting, corporate strategy, or business planning background, particularly in technology-driven environments.The successful candidate will be proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and confident interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.【Key Responsibilities】1. Strategic ConsultationSupport CIO-level decision-making on urgent strategic topicsConduct research, benchmarking, and structured analysisPrepare clear, executive-level reports and briefing materialsAssess emerging technologies and provide impact recommendationsConsolidate stakeholder feedback into actionable suggestions2. Operational SupportCoordinate cross-functional teams to support time-sensitive prioritiesTrack progress and ensure delivery of key milestonesFacilitate executive meetings and follow-upsImprove internal processes and documentationAssist with internal communication and knowledge sharingManage multiple ad hoc tasks with speed and accuracy3. Investigations / Special ProjectsGather information from diverse teams to find root causesProduce concise, actionable summariesDrive closure on short-term tactical requestsLead or support high-ambiguity, fast-turnaround projectsOperate with independence and strong ownership【Required Skills】4–5+ years in consulting, business planning, or technical strategy rolesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityExperience preparing executive-level presentationsExperience in global and Japanese corporate environmentsEnglish: Business levelJapanese: Native/Bilingual【Preferred Skills】MBA or equivalent graduate degreeExperience working directly with executive leadershipKnowledge of organizational change managementAbility to work effectively in fast-changing, ambiguous environments【Employment Conditions】Expected start date: December 2025Long-term contract (initial 2 months, then 3-month renewals)Working hours: 9:00–17:30 (1-hour break)Weekends & public holidays offWork location: Tokyo (Tech Hub Office)
