Job Description

We are looking to hire two Managers with one focusing more on SBD and the other focusing on M&A.We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Strategy to drive strategy and M&A initiatives. This role requires a blend of structured problem-solving, cross-functional leadership, and strategic analysis to support high-impact business decisions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly analytical, and thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) – ~1/3 of RolePartner with the Finance team, which identifies and models deals, to provide strategic insights and guide valuation inputs.Build relationships with sellers, support deal negotiations, and manage cross-functional due diligence efforts.Oversee data preparation, risk assessment, and strategic alignment for M&A opportunities.Analyze macroeconomic factors, competitive positioning, and growth projections to evaluate deal success.Participate in leadership calls and deal discussions but will not be responsible for sourcing deals.Corporate Strategy – ~2/3 of RoleLead and coordinate the company’s 5-year strategic planning process, engaging stakeholders across all functions (Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Operations, etc.).Conduct market research, customer insights, and industry benchmarking to identify future capabilities and competitive positioning.Develop tactical roadmaps outlining key investments, organizational needs, and execution strategies.Work cross-functionally to align teams on strategic priorities and drive execution.Manage multiple high-visibility projects, ensuring alignment with executive leadership and business objectives.Critical Skills & Qualifications:Strong meeting facilitation with senior executives and cross-functional teams.Comfort with framing and solving ambiguous challenges.Clear and concise communication, especially in executive-level presentations.Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to drive strategic decision-making.MBA highly preferred (or equivalent experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development).Expertise in PowerPoint (structured, polished slides) and Excel (financial analysis, modeling fundamentals).Project management experience to drive alignment and execution across teams.Intangibles:Can confidently walk into a VP’s office and drive discussions without an ego.Excited to work in corporate strategy and M&A with high visibility and leadership engagement.A humble, team player who values collaboration over personal credit.Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
