This role involves managing and integrating diverse data sources—such as commercial data, consumer insights, pricing studies, economics, tax, and regulatory information—into forecasting models. The objective is to support management in driving JTI's profitability and ensuring long-term business sustainability.As the Strategic & Business Insights Supervisor, you will Develop and implement advanced analytics and forecasting models, leveraging consumer and customer data to inform marketing strategies and business decisionsOptimize models for efficiency, scalability, and accuracy, ensuring alignment with business goalsIdentify and evaluate diverse data sources and technologies to enhance modelling capabilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data modelling aligns with business objectives, including pricing and taxation strategiesTake ownership of research projects, ensuring methodologies are robust and actionableTranslate business questions into research surveys with appropriate methodologies and sampling.Demonstrate expertise in market research tools, techniques, analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning.Ensure adherence to compliance standards by research agencies.Present actionable insights and summaries for Marketing and Sales teamsDeliver reports, dashboards, and strategic market information with business implications and recommendations to support decision-makingWork effectively with individuals at all organizational levels across various cultural and technical backgrounds to achieve high-quality business outcomes within tight deadlinesFoster a learning environment within Marketing and Sales by sharing industry, competitor, consumer, and retail trends.RequirementsEducation Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related fieldsExperience Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business analytics, preferably within the tobacco industry and market research, or exposure to both research agencies and client-side environmentsProven experience in leading research projects with multiple agencies for over 5 yearsSkills Excellent communication skills in EnglishProficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)Familiarity with analysis software is a plusStrong analytical, forecasting, reporting, and commercial planning abilitiesExpertise in data analysis/modelling tools and softwareKnowledge in Consumer and Trade Marketing research (Qualitative and Quantitative)Are you ready to join us?
