The position is located in Frankfurt am Main, on the 24th floor of the iconic Messeturm, offering a modern and inspiring workspace with breathtaking views.The Role/Responsibilities: Define and execute direct and indirect procurement strategy, optimizing global procurement costs and processesConduct detailed analyses of market trends, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunitiesBuild and maintain long-term relationships with international suppliers; lead contract negotiations and ensure optimal termsWork closely with production, quality assurance, logistics, and other teams to ensure seamless supply chain operationsIdentify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate themRepresent Sirio at international trade fairs and industry events to expand supplier networks and identify new partnersProfile/Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)3–5 years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideally from the food and beverage industrySolid understanding of negotiation techniques, contract law, and supplier managementStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantageStrong commercial acumen and understanding of processes in manufacturing processes and business frameworksPreferably some experience in packaging procurementAnalytical thinker, proactive, solution-oriented, with strong communication and collaboration skillsExcellent command of English (written and spoken); German or additional European languages are an advantageWillingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to AsiaProfessional demeanour with integrity, reliability, and a strong customer focusWe Offer:Ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesA positive and collaborative work environmentFlexible working hours and hybrid working models supporting a healthy work–life balanceAn international company environment with colleagues from around the world
