Our tools are crucial for infection control, and we take great pride in delivering world class equipment to our customers and patients.The Strategic Sourcing department is responsible for delivering commercial advantage to the organizations by managing supplier base to generate cost improvements, securing resilience to the supply chain and maintain defined level of logistic and quality performance. The team is distributed across our Infection control manufacturing sites in Växjö, Sweden and Poznań, Poland.This is an international role, with daily contacts mainly in the Sourcing community, but you will also have frequent interactions with R&D, logistics, procurement, quality and production.You will report to the Purchasing Direction covering the Infection Control area. This position can be based in Poznań or Växjö. The position offers a hybrid setup.What You Will DoIn this role, your primary responsibility will be to:Create and implement strategy to commodity assignedInitiate and manage cost savings to improve factory financial resultsWork with suppliers to develop mutual partnership and improve their performance KPI’sSupport R&D during NPD projects including early supplier involvement, and to select and onboard new suppliersCooperate across business areas to drive synergies between factoriesIdentify potential improvements in processes and define adjustments to ways of working when neededYou will bringTo be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:Educational background within sourcing or equivalent experience.Experience in strategic sourcing and project management is essential.Good understanding of financial aspects of business and logistic implication in global tradeFluency in Microsoft Office package is required, SAP knowledge is an additional benefit.Technical background is beneficial to better understand our products.Experience from Project Management is beneficial.Fluency in English, orally and written.We believe that you are a person with good communication and withhold a positive mindset. You are clear in your communication and feel comfortable in presenting your ideas to an audience.
