Job DescriptionResideo is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Strategic Buyer to join our team in Nagykanizsa. In this role, you’ll manage a blend of strategic and tactical procurement activities, collaborating with Resideo’ s global supplier network to ensure timely delivery of parts at optimal cost.You’ll be part of a dynamic strategic sourcing team, overseeing a diverse range of commodities including (but not limited to) metals, castings, forgings, sustainable packaging, and various mechanical components.Your mission will be to drive cost savings through effective price negotiations with suppliers across Europe and the Far East. You’ll work closely with the Commodity Management team across Europe, as well as local logistics and planning teams, to meet the operational needs of the site.This position offers a hybrid working model, with Mondays and Fridays designated as remote workdays.JOB DUTIES: Align with procurement policies and procedures Support and execute a cohesive European and global strategy for strategic raw materials Identify and develop supply sources in emerging regions, contributing to supplier base optimisation Deliver on annual targets including cost efficiency, quality, lead times, and inventory levels Drive year-on-year supplier agreements and ensure their integration within the organisation Maintain strong supplier relationships Collaborate with NPI Purchasing to engage strategic suppliers Partner with SDE to enhance supplier quality Ensure timely rollout of updated pricing structures YOU MUST HAVE: Tactical procurement experience within a manufacturing environment Fluency in English Excellent negotiation skills WE VALUE: Experience in strategic procurement experience Background in purchasing mechanical parts / components Familiarity with SAP WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Hybrid working model 5% of gross salary to either a SZEP Card, Health Fund or Pension Fund Flexible working hour policy Snack Card Life Insurance Annual Starting School Voucher Gym & Swim Tickets Family-Friendly Certified Workplace About UsResideo is a $6.76 billion global manufacturer, developer, and distributor of technology-driven sensing and control solutions that help homeowners and businesses stay connected and in control of their comfort, security, energy use, and smart living.
