Our team supports clients throughout the entire project and asset lifecycle — from strategy and business case development, through procurement and delivery, to operations and contract management.Our projects span critical infrastructure, complex services, and operational reform initiatives, enabling clients to make better investment decisions, deliver value for money, and achieve meaningful community outcomes.Our clients include Federal, State and Local Governments that fund and deliver transport, education, justice and community services as well as private sector organisations seeking to win government work or develop and deliver projects.About the RoleYou will play a pivotal role in leading client engagements, driving business development, and shaping strategic advice on complex projects.You will manage multi-disciplinary project teams and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across sectors such as transport, justice, health, education, and infrastructure services. This role suits an experienced consulting Manager or Senior Consultant ready to take the next step into their leadership and client relationship journey. We are seeking applicants that ideally have a blend of strategic and commercial advisory experience and technical skillsets. Demonstration of a proactive attitude and a desire for growth in either of these areas will be received positively.Key Responsibilities Project & Client LeadershipLead the delivery of high-value advisory engagements across the project lifecycle — including strategy development, options analysis, economic and financial appraisal, commercial advisory, business case preparation, and implementation planning.Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and client expectations.Facilitate workshops and strategic discussions with executives, government clients, and private sector stakeholders.Oversee preparation of robust, commercial submissions to support major investment decisions.Commercial Advisory & Strategic AnalysisProvide commercial and financial analysis to support client decision-making, including value-for-money assessments, risk allocation, and investment prioritisation.Develop transaction and procurement strategies for complex infrastructure and services projects (e.g., D&C, PPP, alliance, ECI, FM, operations).Support clients in designing strategies, performance frameworks, governance models, and delivery strategies.Business Development & Thought LeadershipIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through relationship building, market research, and proposal development.Contribute to firm positioning through insights, publications, and participation in industry forums.Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.About YouYou are an accomplished strategic, commercial or management advisory professional with:A strong commitment to client service excellence.8–12 years of experience in strategy, transactions, or commercial advisory — ideally across infrastructure, services, or major projects.The ability to lead high-stakes stakeholder engagements, including senior executives, government departments, and delivery partners.The drive to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities.The confidence to build new and deepen existing quality client relationships.Experience developing business cases, options analyses, investment and procurement strategies, for public sector clients.Strong project management and delivery discipline across multidisciplinary environments, including financial management of projects, team leadership and coaching.Excellent written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Qualifications in business, economics, commerce, or a related field, with CA/CPA or equivalent professional accreditation desirable but not essential.Why Join UsWhen you join TCAP, you will:Gain exposure to a diverse set of high-impact projects across Australia’s public and private sectors.Work within and embody a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture in a growing advisory firm.Be provided with and take charge of opportunities for leadership, professional growth, and building the business.Have access to our flexible working arrangements and mentorship from experienced Directors and Partners.We do not accept unsolicited agency resumes and will not pay any fees related to unsolicited resumes received.
