About The RoleAs a member of our Strategic Finance team, you'll play a key role in scaling our financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities. Your insights will directly support decision-makers across multiple teams and functions, fueling strategic and operational initiatives that shape the future of our business.In this role, you'll help drive real-time decisions that support Uber's continued growth, operational efficiency, and profitability-while also creating more opportunities for the thousands of couriers, restaurants, and drivers who rely on our platform every day.If you're excited about solving complex challenges, passionate about data-driven decision-making, and thrive in a collaborative environment-this could be the role for you.What You'll Do Lead financial and operational planning in partnership with business leaders, developing financial forecasts and setting operational goals Deliver strategic insights by applying financial expertise and business judgment to support new initiatives, product launches, and growth opportunities Build and enhance financial models to simplify complex business problems and provide actionable recommendations Drive execution excellence by turning strategic thinking into operational results in collaboration with cross-functional teams Collaborate with accounting to improve management reporting and gain a deeper understanding of financial actuals Continuously learn and adapt, building new technical skills to keep pace with a dynamic business environment What you'll need Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or a related field 4+ years of relevant experience in roles such as FP&A, investment banking, consulting, private equity, or business operations Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Strong fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) Advanced analytical skills with a knack for building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly models Clear, effective communicator who can explain financial concepts to a wide range of stakeholders Self-starter with a proactive mindset-you take ownership and follow through Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment Team-oriented and collaborative-you thrive when working with others toward shared goals High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality work Foundational knowledge of GAAP Experience with enterprise-level financial systems, SQL, or statistical software is a plus.
