Now, we’re on a mission to take this brand to the next level, and we're looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to help us make that happen.About the Role Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Strategic Finance Manager will be responsible for leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A), developing data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions, and building scalable financial systems to support growth. The ideal candidate will be analytically sharp, strategically minded, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. This role will contribute to pov by ensuring the company’s resources are aligned with its vision – driving sustainable growth, operational excellence and long-term profitability.Responsibilities Support the VP of Finance in leading FP&A processes, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and scenario planningMaintain and enhance the company’ financial model; ensuring accuracy, consistency and version controlPartner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Product Development) to analyze performance and investment ROILead monthly and quarterly business performance reviews and communicate insights to leadershipDevelop and track KPIs and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into performance and resource allocationSupport strategic initiatives, including pricing optimizing, channel expansion and product/contribution margin analysisSupport cash flow and working capital management to ensure healthy financial operationsBuild processes and tools to automate reporting and improve financial decision-makingKey Metrics Accuracy and timeliness of forecasts and reportsImprovement in profitability without sacrificing growth and operational efficiencyStrategic insights that drive measurable business impactImplementation of scalable systems and processesRequirements5-8 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking and/or consultingProven track record of building and managing financial models and analyses in Excel and Google Sheets for high-growth consumer or CPG brandsStrong analytical, quantitative and communication skillsAbility to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendationsHigh attention to detail and a proactive, ownership-driven mindsetExperience in an early-stage, high-growth CPG, beauty or DTC startup environmentPreferred Qualifications Prior exposure to inventory planning, supply chain & marketing financeComfort operating in early-stage startup environmentsCompensation $145,000 - $160,000Benefits20 Days of PTO + 9 Holidays + 5 sick days100% of Medical, Dental & Vision paid for EmployeesGenerous Parental LeaveRemote environment with the team centralized in LA & NYCDiscounts on pov beauty products
