Based in Malaysia, this role will work closely with regional and global teams to identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities and partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, regional market insight, and cross-border deal experience, with the ability to manage complex projects independently—contributing directly to the firm’s growth and expansion strategy within the SEA market.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive investment research and analysis related to private equity opportunities, fund structures, and co-investments across the SEA market.Lead the evaluation of potential partnerships, joint ventures, and strategic alliances to support regional growth and market expansion.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and regional partners to manage deal pipelines, support negotiations, and structure investment proposals.Develop comprehensive investment materials, including financial analyses, market insights, and presentation decks for diverse stakeholders.Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on prospective investment or partnership opportunities.Maintain active communication across teams and ensure alignment between SEA initiatives and group-level strategy.Monitor SEA market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends relevant to private capital and strategic growth.Coordinate with legal, compliance, and external advisors as needed to support cross-border transactions and regional structuring.Manage internal reporting and performance tracking for SEA-related initiatives.Support strategic planning, including capital deployment strategies, expansion frameworks, and long-term portfolio alignment.RequirementsMinimum 5–7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate strategy, or related fields.Strong understanding of private capital markets, investment structures, and cross-border deal execution.Proven track record in evaluating deals, building partnerships, or managing investment pipelines.Excellent financial modeling, research, and presentation skills.Comfortable operating in a lean and fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.Experience working with or across SEA-based investments, regional corporates, or financial institutions is a strong advantage.
