Strategic Negotiator, Industry Coalitions and Public Sector Partnerships

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, public policy, or government affairs, with a focus on infrastructure, water, sustainability, or technology sectors.Preferred qualifications:MBA, JD, or Master's degree in Public Policy or a related field.Experience structuring and executing public-private partnerships (PPPs) for large-scale infrastructure projects.Understanding of the global data center value chain.Ability to propose creative solutions commercially and technically.Ability to work in ambiguous, collaborative, and fast-moving environments.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among executives and government officials.About The JobGoogle's infrastructure needs go far beyond server computers. As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. Your successful negotiations have the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs and impact every part of the business.In this role, you will architect the strategic industry coalitions and public sector partnerships that enable the future of Google's global data center infrastructure. By uniting key industry players, public sector stakeholders, and critical upstream and downstream partners, you will directly unlock capacity, accelerate market entry, and shape favorable development environments.
