With an ultimate target of having a decarbonised power system in advance of 2050.The Strategic Partner and Vendor Management team is responsible for leading the development of new and governance and management of existing CTTO frameworks. In addition, the team owns Strategic Partner Relationships across our complex technology and transformation delivery programmes.The work of our Strategic Partner and Vendor Management team is wide-ranging covering the design, development and management of partner governance, processes, and reporting. We take a proactive approach to partner engagement aimed at building and sustaining strategic partnerships which enable the delivery of the systems, tools and standards required to operate the power system of the future.The OpportunityWe are seeking a Strategic Partner Relationship & Delivery Senior Lead to join the Strategic Partner and Vendor Management team.The Strategic Partner Relationship & Delivery Senior Lead will play a crucial role in managing key strategic partner relationships through robust monitoring and control across multiple partners, portfolios and contracts. The role will require driving outcomes and value across new and existing multiple strategic partner portfolios and contracts. This role is a key enabler in driving our multiyear plan for technology implementation and transformation across our Operations, Markets, Offshore and Digital Transformation programmes of work.Your role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of specific strategic partner relationships and in driving value and outcomes from them in the delivery of technology and transformation programmes. This will be achieved by building strong relationships with both our partners and across our internal technology, finance and legal teams.The role will see youlead the implementation of activities across the team and add value by implementing actionable portfolio, project and executive management level insights of our partner activities with a focus on partner compliance, reporting and outcomes across our complex portfolio.provide expertise in the implementation of activities and new processes and leadership insights, which drive and unlock value across strategic partner relationships to enable delivery of our technology and transformation programme to the team and wider company.lead the development and enhancement for specific strategic partner relationships across multiple timeframes leading formal regular reviews.lead out on implementing partner improvements such as skill sharing and capability and capacity planning and building with partners to support implementation of our strategic plans and technical roadmaps.lead out on process improvements, change management and implementation of digital tools to streamline and automate our relationship managment, controls and reporting.About YouBachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field Computing, Business, Legal, Project Management or a related field with 7 plus years’ experience.Experience implementing and leading team in day-to-day management of strategic partner relationship multidisciplinary teams to optimise partner performance and providing holistic view of partners internally.Proven experience in leading and managing multiyear strategic partnerships on large-scale technology or transformation procurement programmes, with a strong track record of successful partner performance, collaboration and delivery.Experience in implementing governance, compliance and value delivery with specific strategic partners based on digital partner management tools and data driven insights, metrics and KPI’s across complex portfolio of strategic partners and contracts.Deep understanding of governance, compliance, partner and supply chain risk management with expertise in European OJEU and public procurement methodologies and regulations, and proficiency with partner management tools and software.Strong ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.Excellent communication, relationship and partner management skills with the ability to deliver results within high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.Proven experience mentoring and leading junior members of the team and engaging with partners in knowledge transfer and skills sharing.Knowledge of energy systems, markets, or experience in regulated, public sector or government environments is advantageous.A passion for transformation, continuous improvement, and a strong customer focus.Closing date for applications31/10/2025We're dedicated to diversity and inclusion at Eirgrid.
