Job Description

UM6P is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Strategic Planning and Institutional Insight Lead to drive university-wide planning initiatives and performance management systems. Reporting directly to the Head of SGPR, this role plays a key part in aligning institutional goals, fostering a data-driven decision-making culture, and delivering insights that support long-term strategic success.You will work across academic and administrative units to design, implement, and refine planning frameworks, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate strategic insights that inform leadership decisions.▪️Key Responsibilities:Lead the implementation of UM6P’s Strategic Planning Framework 2026–2030, ensuring alignment across institutional units.Co-develop strategic plans and performance frameworks at the unit level, using models like Explore–Execute–Impact Framing.Oversee the design and deployment of the UM6P Strategic Dashboard to track institutional and unit-level performance.Manage quarterly performance review cycles and provide insights to support evidence-based decision-making and course correction.Build and maintain a robust KPI and Impact Framework library aligned with university priorities.Produce high-quality insight deliverables such as foresight memos, thematic briefs, dashboards, and benchmarking reports.Facilitate cross-functional strategy workshops, working groups, and UM6P’s annual Strategy & Insight Forum.Establish feedback loops between strategic planning, performance data, and governance mechanisms.Promote a culture of strategic alignment, institutional learning, and continuous improvement.▪️Qualifications and Experience:Master’s degree (or higher) in Strategic Management, Public Policy, Higher Education, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic planning, performance management, or institutional research preferably within higher education or a complex organization.Proven track record in leading multi-stakeholder strategic initiatives and performance systems.Strong expertise in data analysis, reporting tools, KPI development, and dashboard design.Experience facilitating strategic processes and engaging diverse stakeholder groups. ▪️Core Competencies:Strategic and systems thinkingStrong analytical and insight generation skillsExcellent communication and facilitation abilitiesProject and process management expertiseCross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagementAbility to translate data into actionable strategies
