For our client, a renowned medical devices company, we are currently looking for a Strategic Pricing Monitoring & Insights Specialist. This role is critical for transforming our global pricing function by establishing robust Monitoring & Insights (M&I) capabilities. The specialist will serve as the hands-on owner for executing the M&I roadmap, focusing on translating complex data into actionable commercial strategy.The Perfect Candidate is a proactive, solution-oriented "builder" with established pricing expertise.This individual also has a track record of generating data-driven price reports and advanced analytics. Essential skills include proficiency in Excel modeling and the ability to convert complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive reports for executive and cross-functional stakeholders.General Information:Start Date: 05.01.2026Latest Possible Start Date: 01.02.2026Planned Duration of Employment: 24 monthsExtension: not likelyWorkplace: Rotkreuz with possibility to be in Basel.Workload: 100%Home Office: Person should be 2-3 days in the officeTeam: ca. 8 peopleWorking Hours: StandardTasks & Responsibilities:Lead New Report Creation: Proactively architect, pilot, and standardize a suite of new pricing reports, leveraging internal expertise and working with external vendors to build new capabilities with tangible commercial valueDrive Process Optimization: Permanently optimize data extraction, reporting processes, and documentation to increase quality, efficiency, and sustainability standards across the pricing teamMid-term Own the M&I Deliverable Pipeline: Take full end-to-end responsibility for the M&I product roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all new reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for Global and Regional stakeholdersTranslate Insights to Strategy: Move beyond data delivery to actively develop and communicate data-driven recommendations that directly support life cycle teams and improve pricing strategy outcomesDevelop and Own Customer Area Price Fact Checks: Design, create, and proactively maintain resources that provide accurate, reliable, and up-to-date pricing information for specific customer segments, anticipating stakeholder needsChina M&I Lead: Act as the primary analytic lead for high-priority China-specific workstreams, ensuring all outputs align with the Business strategy:External Environment Analysis: Independently conduct research on external market factors (competitor pricing, regulatory changes, reimbursement bodies) shaping the national pricing environmentPrice Trend Analysis: Track historical price data, analyze price evolutions, and translate these trends into insights on potential future fluctuations and their commercial driversGovernance and Compliance: Monitor and document pricing trends and methodologies according to the company's compliance standards, ensuring audit readiness and data integrityMust Haves:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant Science fieldMinimum 5+ years in a commercial, strategic pricing, or Net Revenue Management (NRM) role within the Diagnostic, MedTech or Pharmaceutical industryProven expertise in creating data-driven price reports and advanced analytics, including proficiency in Excel modelingDemonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive reports for executive and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., using Tableau or PowerBI)Solution-Oriented and Proactive: A self-starter who consistently surfaces solutions and possibilities rather than problems or constraintsThrives in ambiguity and independently drives tasks to conclusionFull Accountability & Ownership: Takes full, end-to-end ownership of deliverables, including necessary administrative steps (e.g., proper documentation and file management), and views the team's success as their primary mandate ("I will find this out" mentality) Constructive & Collaborative Attitude: Views all tasks as essential to the delivery pipeline.
