When you average that out, that's an investment of $3.8 million every day!He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About this roleWe are currently recruiting a number of Strategic Programme Planning Manager roles to assist us with our large-scale projects and developments.As a Strategic Programme Planning Manager within Watercare’s Strategy and Planning team, you will lead the feasibility phases of one or more large-scale, multi-year infrastructure programmes critical to Auckland’s water and wastewater future. These programmes, each valued in the hundreds of millions to billions of dollars, are central to Watercare’s Asset Management Plan (AMP) and long-term servicing strategies.You will be responsible for driving strategic alignment across complex project portfolios, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of programme milestones, and enabling Watercare to meet its statutory obligations and community commitments.This role demands a high level of programme maturity, political acumen, and the ability to influence at executive and board levels. You will proactively manage risks, foster innovation, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Iwi, local boards, and community groups.
