You'll play a key part in providing legal and commercial advice across Council's strategic property assets including harbour leases, commercial buildings, and other property interests.As a trusted advisor, you'll ensure our property documentation, contracts, and leases are well-drafted, compliant, and aligned with Council's goals. You'll also take a lead role in progressing key property projects and initiatives that enhance the economic, social, and environmental outcomes for our district.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety from advising on complex property matters and managing contracts, to delivering projects and building strong relationships across the business and wider community.Ko wai koe | About youYou're a pragmatic and commercially minded professional who brings a solid understanding of property and contract law, and the ability to translate that knowledge into practical advice and outcomes. You're confident working across a range of property matters, from harbour and commercial leases to land transactions.
