Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Contingent LaborLocation: Parkmore, GalwayHybrid working of 1 day per week on site and 4 days working from home.This is a 12 month contract initially due to expansion of the team.This Medical Device client is based in over 155+ countries, been present in Ireland since 1999. They have an excellent local reputation.This position will have daily interaction with suppliers and supplier relationship management is a critical responsibility. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Ireland and be fluent in English.About Your New Job Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for assigned contingent labor categories.Respond to and resolve operational issues, escalating to Program Leaders as needed.Understand program goals and provide recommendations to hiring managers based on industry knowledge and best practices.Support and train hiring managers on Procure-to-Pay processes related to contingent workers.Facilitate Q&A sessions between suppliers and hiring managers regarding requisitions.Negotiate rates with suppliers to ensure fair market pricing using a competitive bid program model.Oversee the Onboarding and Offboarding process, including assignment changes (extensions, transfers, backfills, etc.).
