About Advention Advention is an independent strategic advisory group founded in 2001 by a group of experienced partners with top-tier consulting backgrounds. Advention offers its clients a broad range of strategic consulting services, along four main product lines: Corporate Strategy & Business Unit Strategy, Growth Strategy, Operational Performance Improvement and M&A Transaction Support.Advention’s client base mostly includes large multinationals (150+ since origin, including several Fortune 500 companies) and private equity investors (300+). It specialises in four main sectors: Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials and Business Services.Advention operates globally through a network of fully-integrated offices in Europe (London, Paris and Lyon), North America (New York and Vancouver), Middle East (Dubai), and China (Shanghai). Global expansion has been Advention's main driver of growth in the past five years. We are currently looking to reinforce our London office with a new consultants. We are mainly seeking to onboard candidates with 1-3 years of experience in management consulting.Job requirementsFor this reason, ideal candidates are well-rounded and sharp individuals that are fast learners with a strong business acumen. The post requirements are summarised below:High level academic background (business and/or engineering masters degrees from top ranked universities, min score achieved 2:1)1-3 years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking or private equityFluency in EnglishFluency in other European languages is a plusStrong research, analytical and synthesis skills; dynamic and rigorous; autonomous and curious; genuine openness to learn; hard working and team playerGood base in finance and economic modellingRight to work in the UKInterview processThe interview process consists of 4 rounds as described below:Round 1 (30 min): informal chat / fit interviewRound 2 (2 hours): 2 business case studiesRound 3 (2 hours): 2 business case studiesRound 4 (1 hour): final interview with a Senior Partner
