Job Description

Corporate Strategy (JJMT China) and Strategic Project Management (PMO):· Develop forward looking insight about market trends that shape future strategies· Corporate Strategy:Analyze external trends and key implications to overall MedTech industryOrchestrate management discussion to discuss evolving opportunities and challenges, strategic agenda and formulate strategiesPioneer innovation strategies to sustain our leadership at the forefront of the industryShape enterprise agenda and define near-term and mid-to-long term priorities; support achievement of corporate imperatives· PMO: Lead project management efforts of prioritized strategic initiatives. Mobilize enterprise resources to drive progress and deliverables. Engage and influence leaders for change management and decision-making. Conduct dashboard tracking to review progress and escalate critical issues.Business Strategy:· Generate external insight about market trends, competitive landscape, market segmentation, customer insight and regulatory environment pertaining to specific product platforms or franchises.· Explore and assess adjacency market opportunities for expansion beyond current product space.· Identify and analyze emerging business opportunities. Partner closely with commercial leaders to develop strategies to support growth agenda at BU or franchise level.· Act as PMO, driving end-to-end strategy development and implementation for prioritized franchise / BU strategic initiatives.· Support corporate strategy cascade and synchronization among corporate, franchise and BU strategies.Talent Management and Development:· Coach and develop junior members of CD&BT, on project-basis and/or as direct reportsQualification RequirementsEducational Background· Bachelor’s Degree from top-ranked university· Overseas MBA preferredRelevant Working Experience· 8+ years of work experience in corporate strategy / management consulting with track records of outstanding performance and progression. Commercial experiences / expertise in specific domains are pluses.o Management Consulting: strategy consulting at reputable global firmo Corporate: strategic planning, business development, strategic marketing, at Fortune 500 company (healthcare industry preferred)CompetencyBusiness Leadership:· Robust business acumen in managing commercial operations and driving business growth· Exceptional leadership to propel project execution, with ability to navigate complex context· Strong communication and influence skills across commercial team and regional/global stakeholders· Excellent people management skills; highly-effective in steering project teams and in developing talent· Strong team mentality with collaborative mindsetStrategy and Analytics:· Solid strategic thinking and problem-solving, with ability to synthesize multiple perspectives into frameworks· Effective application of analytics to extract insights and derive solutions (e.g., develop business cases, quantitative models)· Independent delivery of high-quality project outputsPC SkillsProfessional proficiency in PowerPoint and ExcelLanguage Skills· Fluent Business English, with outstanding business writing skills· Fluent Mandarin Chinese to communicate within China offices
