Streaming Engineer (WFH)

Our people enjoy a supportive, growth-driven environment with opportunities for continuous learning, career development and work-life balance.If you're driven, passionate about learning, and ready to make an impact, we'd love for you to join our growing team of MVPs!Streaming Engineer (WFH) Job DescriptionArchitect and build a new streaming platform (live ingestion → transcoding → playback).Implement low-latency protocols (WebRTC, CMAF, or similar) for interactive video.Integrate with CDN/edge delivery solutions (AWS IVS, Cloudflare Stream, or custom).Develop APIs for stream management, user auth, and monetization.Work with Product Team to support features like chat, betting overlays, and moderation tools.Ensure platform is scalable, cost-efficient, and compliant with global regulations.Optimize video quality (adaptive bitrate streaming, encoding efficiency).QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related.5+ years of backend/streaming development experience.Proven experience scaling streaming platforms for large audiences.Experience with live sports betting or interactive entertainment platforms is a plus.Expert knowledge of WebRTC, HLS/DASH, RTMP, FFmpeg, media servers (Wowza, Janus, Ant Media, etc.).Strong programming skills in Node.js, Go, or Python.Familiarity with cloud streaming services (AWS IVS, GCP Media, Cloudflare Stream).
