Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities Analyze structural systems following project specifications, codes, and standards Design of all structural members including but not limited to foundations, slab on grade, columns, beams, slabs, cantilevers, etc. Prepare building sketches\drawings showing dimensions, elevations & cross sections if needed. Use soil report & geotechnical investigation results to decide foundation type requirements Estimate the needed quantities of materials to complete projects and select them correctly based on design specificationsQualifications & Requirements• Strong in MS Office. Strong CAD/MicroStation Capability of using design & drafting software including but not limited to Staad pro, SAP, ETABs & AutoCAD Awareness of building codes and standards Use computer-aided design technology for structural analysis and design purpose
