Reisel Consulting is looking for its next Senior Structural Engineer (M/F) for an assignment with its client in the civil engineering sector in the Brussels region, for a full-time permanent position.Your Role:Overseeing the design and calculations of complex structures and buildings subjected to various internal and external constraints.Performing structural analyses using Finite Element Method (FEM) software.Conducting dynamic analysis of structures and components under various conditions such as earthquakes, explosions, and extreme weather events.Writing technical specifications and reviewing technical documents from contractors.Preparing offers and tenders in collaboration with the project team.Leading and mentoring Junior Calculation Engineers within a team of experts.Ensuring compliance with quality assurance (QA) policies through detailed verification of engineering calculations.What are the conditions and benefits?Competitive salary packageMeal vouchersHealthcare insuranceE-learning platform, mentoring, and an environment that encourages asynchronous learningType of contract: PermanentStart date: As soon as possibleLocation: Brussels regionProfile:Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and design.Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (Eurocodes, ASCE, ACI, etc.).Proficiency in Finite Element and structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, SCIA).Experience in predicting structural responses under static and dynamic loads.Excellent technical writing skills for detailed reports and design documentation.Fluency in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
