From concept to completion, we’re reimagining what luxury means in today’s world — and we’re just getting started.If you're passionate about design, architecture, and shaping the future of global hospitality, we invite you to grow with us.About The RoleWe are looking for dynamic and experienced Structural Design Engineers to support ongoing design development of several luxury projects worldwide focusing on boutique hospitality assets.This role requires a creative and technical professional who can deliver efficient and innovative structural engineering solutions while maintaining the aesthetic and functional standards expected in luxury developments.In this role, you will be responsible for structural design development of luxury villas and boutique hotels. You should be able to work independently throughout the day, coordinate with the team when needed, and deliver intermediate results weekly. You will report to a Structural Design Manager, but collaborate with the entire design team, including but not limited to architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, the FF&E procurement team, and client representatives.To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and presentation skills, be punctual, detail-oriented, self-organized, and motivated to deliver quality results.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveDegree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural EngineeringBetween 5 to 8 years of structural engineering design experience working for a design consultancy or general contractorExperience in high-end hospitality projects, like 5-star hotels and private villasProven experience in seismic design and earthquake-resistant structuresStrong background in structural detailing and construction drawings developmentResponsibilitiesDesign structural systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, ensuring compliance with local building codes, seismic regulations, and international structural standardsCollaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and MEP engineers to integrate structural elements seamlessly into the overall project designProactively participate in spatial coordination with architectural and MEP models, research efficient structural methodologies and systems to secure the initial design intent and high-end aesthetic experienceTimely resolve structural technical issues and challenges during the design phaseLead the development of detailed structural drawings, technical documentation, and construction specifications using CAD and BIM tools, with the support of BIM modelersPerform structural analysis, load calculations, and seismic design to optimize structural performance and safetyOversee structural material selection and detailing, ensuring it aligns with project requirements, sustainability goals, and seismic performance criteriaProvide input during value engineering discussions to achieve the best balance between cost, structural performance, and architectural intentSupervise the structural design development, review and approve deliverables of third party structural consultants, geotechnical engineers, and surveyorsStay updated on the latest structural technologies, seismic design trends, and regulations related to high-end hospitality constructionCV RequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering5 to 8 years of experience in structural design consultancy or general contractorExperience working on low-rise residential and hospitality projects - private homes and villas, hotels and resortsProven experience in seismic design and earthquake-resistant structuresStrong background in structural detailing and construction drawings developmentExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in Revit and AutoCADProficiency in ExcelProfessional level of English, both written and verbalGood To HaveSpanishAdvanced knowledge of VBA and C#Experience in projects in the Caribbean region
