We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood level to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners.Our vision is to enable our ākonga to achieve their educational and personal goals, empowering them to become engaged and contributing members of their communities. Ki te tī, ki te tā, ki te katoa – Anytime, anywhere, anyone. Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position As the Student and Whānau Hub Leader you will lead the Student and Whānau Hub team to deliver required outcomes while continuously building staff capability across the team.You Will Be Responsible ForResponding to student and supervisor queries relating to computer access, Te Kura online systems and tools, basic training needs and trouble-shooting. Providing support in an encouraging and timely manner, enabling ākonga to access and engage in their courses with a level of confidence. Ko koe tēnei | About youTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will BringYour knowledge and understanding of Student and Whānau processes and systemsSound knowledge in the application of database systems and procedures with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
