Then, join us to develop innovative solutions for sustainable infrastructure!Create Solutions that will enable a better tomorrowTo enhance our work on developing advanced pavement design tools, we are looking for an engineering student to join our Infrastructure Design team. Together with our colleagues and partners, we work on some of Denmark’s most innovative and sustainable transport projects. Our collaboration with DTU reflects our commitment to combining academic insight with practical engineering skills to develop solutions that shape the roads and terminals of tomorrow.Your key tasks will be:Develop a theoretical model for the design of road pavements using natural stone, clinker, or concrete paving stones. Model pavement layers on top of bound or unbound base courses, bottom protection, and subgrade. Consider various load types, including trucks, cranes, forklifts, and container-handling equipment. Incorporate aspects such as bending, buckling, load transfer, and pavement interaction. Program the developed model in Python and validate results through comparison with Abaqus simulations. Your QualificationsThe first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.On top of that, you will have:Ongoing studies in civil or mechanical engineering, halfway through your degree. Solid knowledge of mechanics and road pavement design. Experience or keen interest in Python programming. An experienced approach with attention to detail and problem-solving.
