Student Assistant for Compliance (Venture Capital)

Our team is globally distributed across Copenhagen, Madrid, and Miami, working collaboratively across functions and markets. About the RoleWe are looking for an ambitious Student Assistant to join our Copenhagen office, supporting the Legal & Compliance team.This role is ideal for a structured, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven student with a strong interest in legal processes, compliance frameworks, and the regulatory aspects of venture capital and fund management. You will gain hands-on exposure to legal operations, corporate governance, compliance workflows, and assist in ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations across our activities. Main ResponsibilitiesReconcile legal documents and shareholder registers on a quarterly basisDraft, update, and maintain internal policies, compliance procedures, and legal documentationSupport legal research across corporate, regulatory, and investment-related mattersAssist with compliance reviews and internal auditsContribute to due diligence processes for investmentsSupport KYC/AML procedures and onboarding of investors and partnersPrepare legal summaries, memos, and presentations for internal stakeholdersAssist with monitoring regulatory developments relevant to fund management and venture capitalParticipate in ad-hoc legal and compliance projects Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s (final semester) or Master’s program within Law (Cand.jur), Business Administration and Commercial Law (Cand.merc.jur), or another related fieldStrong interest in legal, compliance, and regulatory topicsExcellent communication skills in English (Danish is a plus)High attention to detail paired with strong analytical abilitiesAbility to understand and structure legal and compliance-related information clearlyProactive, structured, and capable of working independently We OfferA paid part time position in a dynamic and international work environmentDirect exposure to legal, compliance, and governance processes within fund managementOpportunity to gain insights into the legal aspects of venture capital investmentsFlexible working hours tailored to your studiesComplimentary team lunch provided About the Copenhagen team:We’re a fun and dynamic team that often feels like a second family.
